Our Purpose
The Office of Campus and Community Safety aims to make UCLA the safest university in the nation. We will achieve this by preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies, both natural and man-made. We believe at our core that a safe UCLA is much more than a place with low crime. A safe UCLA is a community where Bruins feel safe. Each of you, as members of this community, are critical partners in keeping UCLA safe. In short, our purpose is to have all who come to UCLA to express themselves, to learn, work, and play, have confidence they are safe. We endeavor to create a community where Bruins can be Bruins!
